Much of his profession has involved working with motels, including four years at Booking.com where Pieter helped motels increase their occupancy and gross sales via digital methods. Additionally, Pieter has worked alongside DMOs at Travelzoo and Booking.com the place he helped develop inventive marketing and gross sales campaigns to spice up visitors for areas across Canada. Pieter holds a post-graduate degree from Humber College in Business Management, a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University’s geography program and a certificate in full-stack web improvement from the University of Toronto.
Design/methodology/approach Tourists volunteered to participate in a self-administered survey at random during peak seasons.
