Business is global; to be successful you need to understand international cultures and markets and adapt your business to their needs. Native speakers of a foreign language are not permitted to take courses in that language/culture for credit towards the major. If you are interested in how business operates in many markets around the world, and would like to open yourself up to career options in global industry, consider study in international business.
Eligibility for the degree programme is given by the general eligibility for Bachelor’s degrees in universities of applied sciences in Finland. Note: IB co-majors are required to take an international course in their major discipline if such a course is offered.
It is essential that in your base of education when studying for a business management degree, those social and ethical responsibilities are incorporated into the education. This course exposes business students to the study of entrepreneurship and the venture creation process.

Develop skills in a second European language, suitable for use in a business context (where language option is taken). Year 1 provides you with a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of business management and introduces you to core aspects of the environments in which organisations operate.
