International Business is an interdisciplinary program, combining core courses in general business and foreign languages with advanced courses in international business. You can also get involved with the student-run Kent Business and Kent Enterprise societies, which in previous years have organised regular events with guest speakers from industry and supported budding entrepreneurs with their ventures. You will study Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis; International Business and Career Development Planning.
Practical training can also be done anywhere in the world; you are free to arrange your training placements to suit your own international career plans. By planning early in consultation with an academic advisor, students may be able to reduce the time it takes to complete a bachelor’s degree in International Business to 3 or 3½ years.
