Business & Management Degrees

We have identified 7 components that are common emerging requirements when it comes to a business management system. The first year of Business Management, Business Management (Accounting and Finance) and Bachelor in Accounting degrees are identical so students on either of the BSc Business Management degrees can, if they wish, transfer into another degree in the School after successful completion of Level 1.

The basic reason behind this problem is the national government’s chronic underinvestment and mismanagement in public administration effectiveness and efficiency, internal controls, organization systems, public service cultural approach, management controls, IT and lack of external (citizens) stakeholder involvement.

While you shouldn’t expect a huge business degree salary as soon as you graduate, the skills and knowledge gained from a business degree should facilitate your career progression, making it easier to climb into management-level positions with higher salaries.

Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with the necessary competencies (knowledge, skills and values) so that they can perform the necessary tasks and roles as a manager at all levels of management and in any function of a business.

Purpose: The purpose of this module, in the broader context of the management diploma, is to provide students with the necessary knowledge, applied competence and skills related to contemporary management issues and to prepare them to be employable managers, workers or entrepreneurs and contributors to society and the business community.
